  No argument there still thinking . . . but this kid has made a decision that even according to (his) own posts is totally illogical . . .

  I feel like there are alot of ppl in the world who would be better off being in the witness world, so preaching to ones who are looking for some kind of purpose in life will be better then me just doing what i am doing now.

  not much consideration for his future cult victims . . .

  i would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.

  the wt society has their own definition of what's considered " lawless ".

  anything that's considered a disfellowshipping offense in the jehovah's witnesses is now considered " lawless ".

  I've just come to this thread flipper . . . mainly because I've just come off a thread by a poster deservingone26 (whom I believe you've met), who after being disfellowshipped for 5 years and becoming "lost" with family still in . . . is now heading right back into the mire . . . no wonder the WT boys are pushing this one hard . . . it works! . . . Heartless pricks.

  i know it's not the lightest of topics but the current news coverage of the pope's final hours made me wonder if i'd face things as calmly as he is reported to be doing.

  i don't have his faith, or any faith anymore, but i can see how for a true believer that would be a source of strength.. the thing is, a lot of us thought we'd never die.

  While that might seem the best option for now deservingone26 . . . and I respect that . . . you must beware that any time spent in this cult will damage you . . it is simply not healthy. Please don't waste your life. Do what you feel you have to . . . but don't forget your friends here . . . I suspect you will need them.
